This bifocal lens is fitted with a high performance optical technique allowing good vision at 70 cm and near vision between 30 and 40 cm with an intermediate vision between 50 and 70 cm.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">96 % of the patients operated for cataract surgery and implanted with ACRILISA are independent of glasses.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">ACRILISA is fitted with a new UV filter to protect the retina.<br \/>\n      TORIC ACRILISA: in 2008 TORIC ACRILISA is released for the correction of cataract surgery allowing the treatment in the same time of <a href=\"\/en\/wp\/en\/myopia\/\">myopia<\/a>, <a href=\"\/en\/wp\/en\/hyperopia\/\">hyperopia<\/a>, <a href=\"\/en\/wp\/en\/astigmatism\/\">astigmatism<\/a> and <a href=\"\/en\/wp\/en\/presbyopia\/\">presbyopia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">It is one of the few models available to correct simultaneously near, far and intermediate visions with astigmatism during the same procedure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\\wp\\wp-content\\uploads\\2015\\09\\ACRILISA.jpg\" alt=\"AcriLisa\" width=\"400\" height=\"250\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>Advantages of multi-focal intra-ocular lenses:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>independence of glasses in 80 to 90 % of the cases,<\/li>\n<li>good vision for far vision intermediate and near vision without correction,<\/li>\n<li>correction with TORIC ACRILISA of astigmatism simultaneously,<\/li>\n<li>foldable intra-ocular lens implantable with a small incision of 2.2 mm with vision recovery the day after.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> Disadvantages:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>halos by night visions are possible,<\/li>\n<li>in few cases, far or near vision are not optimal and need glasses for better correction or secondary treatment by laser Excimer,<\/li>\n<li>need of good lightening for near reading without glasses<\/li>\n<li>same disadvantages of <a href=\"\/en\/wp\/en\/cataract-surgery\/\">cataract surgery<\/a> with any intra-ocular lens (cf. <a href=\"\/en\/wp\/en\/cataract-surgery\/\">cataract<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Post-operative followings:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fast visual recovery: 24h<\/li>\n<li>No post operative pain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Complications (same as <a href=\"\/en\/wp\/en\/refractive-surgery-complications\/\">cataract surgery<\/a>): <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High intra-ocular pressure treatable by local eye drops or oral medications<\/li>\n<li>Risk of infection: 3\/1000<\/li>\n<li>Macular oedema controlled by local treatment<\/li>\n<li>Low risk of retinal detachment, mainly in high myopia or patients with degenerative lesions that can be checked and treated before surgery<\/li>\n<li>Risk of secondary cataract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Link&#xA0;: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.meditec.zeiss.com\/lisa\" target=\"_blank\">www.meditec.zeiss.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#xA0;<\/p>\n<p>Multifocal and pseudo-accomodative implants<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/en\/wp\/en\/pseudo-accomodative-implants-restor\/\">RESTOR<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/en\/wp\/en\/pseudo-accomodative-implants-acrilisa\/\"><strong>ACRILISA<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/en\/wp\/en\/pseudo-accomodative-implants-oculentis\/\">OCULENTIS<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#xA0;<\/p>\n<p>&#xA0;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RESTOR &#8211; ACRILISA &#8211; OCULENTIS 2.
