Opacification of the posterior membrane of the capsular bag which contains the IOL.
Symptoms:
- Decreased and blurry vision.
- Reduced visual acuity.
- Halos, glare and light-sensitivity.
Treatments :
- Yag Laser ambulatory treatment, with local anaesthesia by eye drops.
- Yag laser treatment opens the posterior membrane of the capsular bag to clear the visual axis.
