CORVIS – OCULUS

This is a non-contact device that uses an air pulse projected onto the cornea to analyse its reaction to it and so calculate a biomechanical value that reflects the rigidity and flexibility of the cornea. The results help the surgeon to choose the best surgical technique: TPRK, Femto(LASIK), ICL, etc.

As a complement to Topography, which analyses the eye's anatomy, Corvis analyses the cornea's biomechanical quality.
